Yes, that is a z tube. That is a stillen one though and isnt quite as good looking as the OEM 350z one. The stillen one has 2 plastic seams in it because of how its made. The 350z one is much smoother.

The high flow filter is a drop in replacement, it looks like the stock filter. I think you can also remove the power duct if you want to make it louder.

btw...what do you guys think of removing power duct? Does it make a difference in how the car feels? I havent seen any dyno losses but have seen people say it is slower starting.

Thinking about doing it now...

IMO, the stock intake is incredibly well setup.

I removed the baffles in all of it and installed a Z tube, it sounds wicked. Those baffles take a lot of the noise away. I just epoxied the holes over. make sure you keep a drain hole for water in the main intake box though.

Keep the power duct. It brings in more cool air to your intake, and more cold air is a good thing. Keeping the intake temps low is the biggest reason why most intakes aren't as beneficial as keeping the stock setup on this car. Removing the power duct means your intake will be pulling in hot air from the engine bay, which definitely isn't going to help.

Thanks, I might actually get some new foam strips to insulate it better. The foam looks kind of ratty these days.

Is it okay to be running coupe 18s with 225/45 in the front and 245/45 in the rear? I figured the diameter differences would offset each other speedometer wise. I'm not harming the car in anyway running this set up am I?

^I wouldnt count on them offsetting eachother...Im not a guru on tire sizes but if they are bigger and smaller then OEM, I wouldnt be surprised if your cruise stopped working. Im pretty sure its sampled in 2 different places

Yeah I was hoping they would...I also just found out my rear driver side window is not working. It keeps making clicking noises when trying to go down. Any advice?

Rear window switches should be the same, I'd try swapping them left to right first, if that makes no difference you'll have to pull of the door panel and test the motor and signal. Fairly easy to test.

Anything but a 2003.0. Everything else is supported by Osiris

difference between a 03 g35 VS 07 g35x

My friend is looking to get rid of his 07 g35x for a good price. Can someone please tell me the difference between my 03 g35 vs an 07 g35x? Thanks!

I really like my 03.5 body style and its green! lol but do you think its worth it to sell mines and pick up a 07x? Both car mileage are in the same area. I haven't seen too many aftermarket parts for it either.

i would never give up the first gen for a new one... thats just me.... 1st Gens look WAY better IMO. its about your preference..... the new ones are nice too but it would have to be a certain one... like the G35X S premium package.
