Random Little Question Thread

Mishimoto has one for trans iirc, but no sure if its good.
But yea I believe all Aftermarket solutions do not have an integrated Trans cooler.
I have an Aux cooler but I have it routed with the OEM. I am not sure how big it needs to cool alone.
I have mine mounted infront of the radiator so the OEM fans draw air passed it.

Any of the G35 radiators that specify they work with 5AT as well will have the transmission cooler built into the radiator. Mishimoto, Mizu, and Koyo (only the regular Koyo though, not the "racing" model) all make radiators for 5AT. Any that are 6MT only will not have this, so you would need an external transmission cooler.
However, unless you plan on getting a large transmission cooler (which there is not a lot of room for), I wouldn't rely on this alone to cool your transmission fluid. The instruction manual for these coolers even specifies that the ones built into the radiator are generally better than a small external one. Of course, the best option is to run an external in series with the radiator one

I'm sure most you know this info already but wanted to share what I just learned about the mishimoto radiators for the newbs like me... Hahaha.
Update on radiator situation... Just spoke with mishimoto rep and explained the fitment issue from before.. The fitment issue was resolved by stopping production of the radiators for a year to address the radiators fitment issues.. However the part numbers have not changed so there's no way to tell the old from the new. So this is why ^^^ still had fitment issues bc he may have gotten an older model. Mishimoto rep said that all distributors have the new and improved mishimoto radiators.... Mishimoto does not make fans for the g35s but 350z fans work just fined or our g's... As for the transmission cooler it is highly recommends but not needed..

If you don't want to try Mizu, I wouldn't worry too much about going with Mishimoto. The fitment issues are pretty minor and they have a good warranty if you run into major problems, but their quality control does suck.

Looking for a short ram intake but not trying to spend $250 for top name brands like AEM and Injen. Any suggestions in the $100 range? I don't wana just buy some cheap ebay brand intake. Sorry if this has already been asked before, which I'm sure it has but I couldn't find a decent thread on it.

An option you might want to consider is just a z tube and a k&n filter. I think that would be closer to your price range.
