I know this has come up, the Rear Sway bar, can we use the 350Z one?

(I am planning a dual exhaust and the RSB from the 350 would allow it with much more space and simplicity)

Are you sure on that? I always thought the 350Z sways were the same. As far as I know, the only sway bar to allow additional clearance is the Motordyne.

No, actually, I"m a dummy. I forgot the 'dual exhaust' on the G coupe and 350 is fake.

nevermind, lmfao

OK, lol.

Clearance is pretty tight on a dual exhaust with 3" piping. The left side goes under the sway and the right goes over. I'm not sure how much additional clearance the Motordyne sways free up.

3" duals!?!?!? Nah, that's way too big. This isn't a 700 whp animal.

2.25" or 2.5" is the plan.

Yes, 3" the whole way isn't a good idea unless you're pushing massive HP, but 3" after the merge is always better performance wise. That's how the Motordyne exhaust is. Might as well do it, especially if you're FI.

Anyways, clearance shouldn't be a problem with the stock sways as long as your exhaust hangers aren't really worn out and sagging. I know mine were after 9 years.

Who has 18" g35 coupe wheels on their sedan?

Hey Guys,

Found a good set of g35 coupe 18" x 8" rims! 30 offset

I'm worried they'll stick too far out: 15mm less offset than stock + 12.5mm in wheel width (per side of hub) = the wheels sticking out more than an inch over stock.

Anyone with this set-up please advise.

Thanks!

There are a buttload of threads on this, go to advanced search and search "+sedan +coupe +18" without the quotations

I think you're misunderstanding me here. A proper dual exhaust is supposed to have a merge at some point close near the cats/test pipes (either via a Y-pipe or X-pipe). This is still a dual exhaust as long as you don't have a single pipe coming after the merge.

I suggest you take a look at the Motordyne exhaust and just copy that. It's been proven to provide the best gains.
