^It's a HikkataDori (From back when it was actually HikkataDori, and not just a "style" )

7500 mi Interval is only for "Normal Driving" which means ideal conditions which are almost never met.

Decent Conventional can do ~4-5k. But this all depends on your driving style and where you drive. You can get great Synthetic oil to look like crap after 4-5k miles in a UOA. But another driver can get 9k out of it. Its depends on location and how they drive. For instance I can drive in flat Florida with Oil X and after 5k miles the UOA looks great, where as for instance another person who lives in San Francisco and has to drive up hills a lot uses the same oil and gets much different results .

Just because an oil that touts x amount of mile OCI's does not mean you can even get close to that.

What you consider "relatively short" is actually the top end of synthetic oil life in our cars with ideal conditions. The VQ Motors are known for being hard on oil.

OCI = Oil Change Interval
UOA = Used Oil Analysis

Whatever oil you choose, just make sure you change it regularly!
I do 30 miles on weekdays. 14 miles on freeway, rest in city with a speed limit of 45 and a little bit of traffic. weekends its hardly used unless making a >50 miles trip. I change my oil every 3500 miles. I have done around 10k miles in ~9 months. i have a 1600 mile trip coming up in 2 weeks so just wanted to know if i should switch to synthetic before doing it. I plan to keep it for atleast 50,000 more miles. and it has done ~103k. So just wanted to know as it will be high mileage car now.

i asked technician at Infiniti dealership and he said no.

No they're cheap. They're FG. And the fitment is aweful.

I have one. Baus auto has a couple left over from the special made ones he did mine being the first, they're thicker than normal, and the lights line up better, but the left lower portion sticks out a bit.

You also have some work ahead of you to get it too look half decent, including a lot of sanding and cutting hinges for added adjustment.

NFSP G35 since the 03 trunk question came up im actualy doing the swap
on my trunk and rear bumper. I have the doggy door I dont have the key fob and
open the trunk with the handle. Reading from previous posts that the button in the
latch could be re routed was wondering were you put yours? and if anyone tried
putting the trunk lid in the back seat im going to a different state to pick one up
and it would suck if it didnt fit

Yes. And if you can find the button for the trunk release, that 05/06 bumper has the hole for it already

Don't know the process, but if it uses the same garbage mould, it will have issues. A couple on here have the CF ones.

It's all Baus Auto/carbodykits/eric

Just hit Eric up he's fairly straight up (in my experience)

What do you guys think of MRR HR2 in Chrome on an OB? I never thought I would consider getting chrome on a Japanese car but I think it might work..
