haha i mean it would make sense right? just wait a bit and get good parts instead of buying parts that are just going to break on you or look horrible

I totally understand..but its not like im asking for $20 mods with amazing gains(i know not possible)...my mods other than the "poor mans exhaust" arent that bad to start out with, most g owners have them aswell.

Guys is it bad to adjust your own camber? I see a lot of you fitment guys "adjusting" all the time and I wonder if y'all take it to a shop or do it from your garage.

^alot of guys just eyeball it if they are constantly changing up their setup....those are usually the people who have done it alot and don't care so much about tire wear

I'm thinking about dropping my car some more so I may do the same. Guessing if both sides are dropped the same, then wheels should have the same fender-to-tire gap? Well for the most part.

Worry about toe, not camber. Camber will give you uneven tire wear, but toe will eat up your tires.

But make sure tou get an alignment, adjusting it yourself without an alignment rack isnt the best idea

^^the conversation was about adjusting stuff yourself....he knows that most people get alignments but some work on their own cars if they don't really care all that much about tire wear

Yeah and there aren't many alignment shops here for lowered cars. Definitely not going back to Firestone. Charging me $150/alignment.

I don't touch my suspension after getting an alignment. I had these SSRs aligned to get my camber at -7 and get toe in spec and haven't touched it since. Next time I touch it will be when I get different wheels, and adjust the height that looks good on them, and then I'm off to alignment. Then I won't touch it unless I change the height again.

I don't change my height often, I know some people do, and if they don't get an alignment afterwards, then that's pretty stupid.
