I'm not sure about that one - rev up motors have more advanced timing so the plugs for rev up motors might be a step colder to help prevent detonation. If you are modded, one step colder is not a bad thing.

Considering buying a brand new spc camber kit front and rear from craigslist. Part numbers 72125, 72050. These part numbers are the latest version right? As a newb, anything specific I should look for when inspecting the kits (any parts not supposed to be loose etc)? Fast reply would be much appreciated, thanks

Check SPC's website for the part number. If I remember correctly, you want to make sure it has the spacer for the front arms.

Thanks, they did match up to SPC's website but want to make sure they didn't reuse the part number for the revised arms. Anything I should look at when inspecting the arms besides obvious defects like cracks, etc?

Hey guys, new member. I just bought a 04 G35 6 speed sedan to play around with. Still not sure what direction I'm going with it. Maybe flat black, nitrous, any ideas? I'm thinking about $2K maybe 3 to put into it. I own a small shop on the side, so no labor charges. It doesn't matter about emissions either. Just looking for ideas/advice. Thanks!!

You need to figure out what you want to accomplish before asking us for help. We can't mod your car for you, but if you can tell us what you want to accomplish, we can help point you in the right direction. The G35 has a lot of aftermarket support so there are many mods you can do whether you want acceleration, handling, or looks. Take a look through the sedan forum, and other related forums to see what options you have.

And IMO, even if you are installing everything yourself and have the capabilities to properly tune your ECU yourself, $2-3k is not a lot of mods. An exhaust can easily cost $1k, and suspension can easily cost another. If you just want more power, $3k isn't going to go very far there either - you might be able to get a good turbo kit, but you won't really have anything left for any supporting mods.

Also, I honestly would not NOS these motors unless it has been built, or at least have a spare sitting in the garage.

Yeah don't want to blow the welds on the intake.

Nitrous can be fine on a stock block given its professionally installed and tuned. Lots of info here: http://my350z.com/forum/nitrous-oxide-181/

Change the gasket. If you're talking about the bolt, you don't need to change that, it just might be easier to find the two together.

I agree that I need to change it. I just can't seem to find where to buy them. By any chance you guys have a part number I can work with?

You can buy packs of them at auto parts stores or even home improvement stores like Home Depot. You don't need a part number, you just need the size, and you need to make sure you buy the right type of washer.

Honestly, it's not necessary to replace either bolt or washer unless it's damaged or isn't working properly. It's only suggested that you change the washer as that part assures the seal, and is spring loaded.
