in all fairness you did not use the Megs Kit
I am going to do it the Pro way with my DA with 3inch pads 500>800>1000>3000 and then M105>Plastx> Areo Space 303

^ I didn't know there was a Meguiar's kit. I just used plastX previously.
On that note, mine is starting to haze again, but I'm going to try just going over it with the compound included with the kit, and I'll post back on that thread.
Your solution is the best bet though Danny.

Yea the megs kit just includes a drill mounted wool pad. The compound works to a point, Buy some Areo 303 and keep up on it. It turns Hazy because of the sun.
I did try the 3m kit but the shaft on my Drill was bent and it caused me to jump everywhere lol
Its like 70 bucks for all the pads and attachments to my DA lol. But its the best way to do this.
320, 500,800 are 41 cents each but 1000 and 3000 are 2.80 each fuu

Unless you strip the clear completely off you wont fix it. About 6 weeks ago I spent hours trying to sand it out. I finally got it all off and then I wet sanded the clear off the inside of the lens too. Once I do the other lens I will reclear the inside and out side and then wetsand and buff the new clear.
It took so long to get that damaged clear off. I actually washed it with lacquer thinner which is bad, very bad but I needed to know what was on there. Then I sanded it with 320 till I finally got it all off. Then 500 and finally finished off with 800. **** took hours!

Yea I am going to use a DA not by hand and ill be buying 320 just in case 500 does not work for me. Its not hard to sand off the clear completely with 500 grit.
