You can keep the he and have the 2.5" collector replaced with a 3" collector

Collector is where the 2 pipes turn into one. Hence the name Y pipe, for its shape

Ohhk, makes sense, you think replacing the coupe middy with a 3" middy will cause more rasp since everything else is 2.5"? or should i just leave the exhaust the way it is. sorry for the noob questions, just dont want to spend the money if i know it will cause more rasp

Sorry, I mean cut off the 2.5" collector on the Y and replace it with a 3" collector, then bolt up a 3" mid from there and finish with a 3" axle back.

ohhhkk, sounds like a good idea. so just weld a 3" collector but leave the rest of the piping there. (so just the part i circled in the pic weld a 3" collector to replace that) 3" middy and finish with a 3" axle back. perfect.

Last Question:
if i decide to keep my current axle back until i have the funds for a 3" one, will it be raspy? (current one is 2.5") if i was to add a 3" collecter with 3" middy down to 2.5" axle back. i have kinetix hfcs as well.

thanks for the help really appreciate it

How many miles is too much for a G?

I'm thinking of getting a blk/blk 6speed with 123,000 miles for $12,000 but I'm worried that might be too much considering I'll be owning this car for the next 5-6 years. I own a mustang with 130k miles and it could not be in worse shape. Pretty much everything has a problem.

Would I be better off getting a G I found with 84k miles instead. But it is $3000 more.

How many miles would be too much for the G35?

Tunermax on here picked his black on black 6spd sedan up with less K and half the amount...

Don't be fooled by the guys selling the 6mts for a premium.

Yep... that's what I was thinking. You should be able to get an '03/04 Coupe for a significant amount less than that with that kind of mileage on it. I would personally just look for a car with lower millage rather than cheaping out on one that has a ton of miles just to save a few bucks... especially since you said you wanted to hang onto it for a bit.
