I was getting bored till I beat my friends 350z. them it was like our spark was re kindled. lmao

has anyone tried doing a cylinder deactivation set up on the v6?
like how the new v8s cut 1/2 cylinders off of fuel while at fwy speeds when all power isn't needed? and it uses less fuel and cools the engine too
I've thought about this for freeway use.

cant find suspension. i need help

Hi im looking to improve on my g35 after 8 years of stock life. Im ready to mod it up but yes theres a but. I want a more responsive steering feel and reduce body roll but just a little because potholes and this is a daily driver. I want to get better damping and just more confidence inspiration .
. i only want a half inch drop maybe .7 or .8 tops. But all the coils i shop for has 1.2 or more which wont work for me. I live in pothole n.y.c. and its horrible roads here. So im thinking just getting bilstien shocks with stock springs. i know a better shock should have better performance but will it also help the springs with roll alittle? Its just a idea im not really big on stock springs it rolls just a tad to much for me. Feel free to chime in

Every coil over i look at says adjustible but i see avg drop is 1.2 - 2.2 does that mean it can go higher to .08 or is 1.2 its highest ? And why do they have softer spring rate then stock ? Should'nt it be stiffer because t can bottom out 1.2 is to low FOR ME.
And yes i will be getting wider rims and tires...

Open to all suggestions thanx.

Coupe / Z combo springs with a set of Tokico blues would probably serve you well.

Revised are 2005+ they have 2 red dots and a light purple dot on them they'll drop it about .8" and that's the least you'll get with any springs other than maybe coupe springs I'm not sure how much they drop the sedan. As far as I know Tokico are the best for our cars

Cool how would i buy those aut advance auto? Or a nissan dealer. will i need camber plates or anything with that? Also regarding the sway bar i love the g35 weight distribution. Will a bigger sway bar effect it ?.. do you know of any coil overs that do such a marginal drop.. and thanx again for any suggestions. ..

All suggestions welcome

Exhaust advice

Hey guys just wanted some Advice on an exhaust system. Should I buy aftermarket exhaust or should I get a custom one at a muffler shop. If I go custom from a muffler shop, any ideas. I was thinking about doing custom piping from the cat all the way back And adding a axle back but still undecided. I also don't want a loud sound, I'm looking more for a deep tone But of course performance is key. Thanks for reading and I appreciate y'all's help.

The one vendor on here that was doing them has acquired a really bad rep by ripping a bunch of guys off and some lying, so I won't tell you about him, but I know some one in NY that does them, mine are at his place right now getting done.

PM me if you are serious and I will put you in touch with him

What? 06 sedans had a projector option?

First I've heard as far I know the V35s were reflectors through out all of their production. Only V36s got projectors.
