So I purchased my '03 sedan a few months ago and have decided to start modding it. I noticed when I bought it that it had a stillen cold air intake and stillen pop charger. Well I was close to buying a 5/16 spacer when I came across a thread and realized by looking in my engine bay that I also had a spacer already installed. My car has quite powerfull so I am now assuming it may have other mods I might not be aware of. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing:-) so my question how can I tell what's been modded and what hasn't? I'm hoping I don't have to tear stuff apart just to find I waisted my money on something I already had!

Lol! I have the same question, my G seems pretty powerful but probably just me...

But my question - If I want to buy HID bulbs do all I have to do is take the old bulbs out and put the new ones in? or I have to get a kit or what?

If your headlights are non HID then you will need the kit. You will need the ballest and working that comes with it. I tried to install some nice lights in my old truck that were way to powerfull for my factory set up and it fried my entire elec. system. $400 dollers worth of rewiring.

Check your muffler. If its stock its a reasonable assumption that the rest of the exhaust is stock or close to stock...why cant you just ask the previous owner?

Check the owners guide

I decided to bail on those seats, they were nice but his misrepresentation and complete hatred of paypal made me weary.

The muffler was stock I just started working on the exhaust. Long story short I am the third owner. The first owner was modding this car. The second owner bought it as a third vehicle to take on out of town business trips. He only had it a year and said he didn't drive it enough to keep it. He also said the previous owner had installed an intake but didn't know anything else. I now know he did more then just an intake, but I have no clue if he did the lower plenum along with the spacer or just the spacer. Also I'm not sure on any internals, only what I can physically see.

Im pretty sure that the lower plenum doesnt help much - unless you have a revup engine.

It is very unlikely that anything was done internally. Theres no reason to unless you were shooting for very high hp, and if it was there would be many many other things that would be giveaways for that. The intake and spacer are very common mods, youll find them on almost every g35driver members car.

Ok thanks I was thinking maybe if he had FI or something he may have removed it to sell separately. I know when I sold my old civic I stripped as much off as I could.
