I agree. Sea Foam™ is where it's at.

Jesus, 500 bucks?? Nothings going to kill you if you don't replace em yet but if its badly damaged it might create some suspension wobble causing premature wear to other suspension parts and or tires. Bring it to a reputable auto shop for cheaper prices. If u wanna diy I'd rather replace the whole rod unless you have a press.

And um, gurr? Lol are you SURE its engine? Maybe transmission. As far as 90k service goes...I wanna say bring it somewhere else. It's not like its still under warranty and might find something else wrong to replace through the warranty. If you've taken care of you engine with oil changes at appropriate times you shouldn't need seafoam yet. And unless you're running on low octane gas with gunk buildup. Transmission fluid change jiffy lube does it for like 120 bucks. Ac service shouldn't be necessary unless you're using ac everyday for like 10 years. Lol trust me I use to work at a place that does ac service telling people they needed it but is still like half full of Freon. *

He never said he needed a compression rod bushing, it sounds like someone just suggested he do it for the sake of 'doing it'.

If it's not broke, dont fix it.

Time to take your car into a good shop for an inspection.

I figured the dealership told him to replace them, my bad. At 90K good chance they're done, needs to be checked for sure.

19 inch wheels on a 2003 g35 coupe?

Hello everyone i am going to be getting new tires and wheels on my 2003 g35 coupe and im wondering if i am able to get 19 inch wheels. I have stagered 17s right now. would i need to get stagered 19s and if so what size would be the correct size. also Is it true that the bigger size of tire increases handling? I am leaning towards getting bridgestone potenza pole postion to go with these wheels. Does any have any experience with these tires? if any there are any better tires for performance wet and dry please recomend.

You can definitely go 19s. 05-07 G35 Coupes came in OEM 19s.
As for handling, I believe 18s are best since they are lighter than 19s. 19s also give you a harsher ride.

Hope this helps!
