Pull straight down on the faux aluminum trim piece that's right at the bottom. Then there's a metal retaining clip you remove, and the **** comes straight up and off.
If I was looking for an aftermarket shift ****, would there be a thread/pitch to look for? Or at least something indicating fitment?

Perfect place for this - Does anyone know if the plastic piece on the front underside of the passenger seet is held in place by screws or those plastic retainers? I noticed that piece loose ('04 g35x sedan) last night. It is too cold and dark when I get home to really look it - or I'm lazy...

yea they are held in by screws. if its loose its prob missing a screw or screw isn't tight.

there's probably a short somewhere and it makes intermittent contact when the short touches another wire. maybe a bad click spring. it's just a coincidence it started after te storm.
Orrrrrrrrr a short in your horn wiring.

My guess is one of the 2 fuse boxes in the battery compartment got wet and is causing the issue. You'll have to take out the battery to get to the back box.

The wing is a Wald Bison lip from a Mercedes that was molded into the trunk.
I see nice!
I noticed mine today and it was light faded gray.
to remove it I pop the inside cover off and in screw it?
how did you remove the window trim too?

It isnt easy to get off, you have to take the door panel off and ****. Then you have to unwire the wire harness for it etc...

I broke one of my mirrors when I was trying to get the mirror out (I wanted to paint the mirror cover and base black) I settled for just the base.

Removing the mirror assembly from the car is easy. I didn't have to de-pin anything as my shop was able to work with the harness being pulled through as much as possible.

Take a look at this thread to see what needs to be done

https://g35driver.com/forums/interio...ew-mirror.html

As for the window trim, It's not really easy to explain. The pieces are thin and prone to bending/creasing easy when removed. I had to replace two of them because I damaged them during the removal.

I'm planning on buying tokico hp blue shocks to go along with eibach pro-kit springs for coupe 03-08...should i stick with tokico hp blue shocks (sedan) or go with the tokico hp blue shocks (coupe) 03-08 to go with the coupe setup...will the springs work on both of the shocks?
