Really depends on how far you want to go regarding cost, handling, ride comfort, adjustability...etc. Keep in mind most suspension setups that involve lowering require camber kits as well. Research the stickies in the suspension section, you will find specs on most of the available springs and coilovers which are important factors to consider.

damaged rims

so the other day i ran something over and it popped both my tires and bent both rims. (no idea what the hell it was!!) the guy at the shell service center told me the rims could not be fixed because of the mirror finish on the lip. i told him i was going to take it to a rim repair place and he said they would not be able to either... is he correct? i have these rims http://www.tiresbyweb.com/popup.aspx...rge/AE2273.jpg would it maybe be cheaper to buy a set of stock g35 rims with tires on them or fix the wheels if possible?

Wouldn't hurt to contact a local wheel repair shop and have them take a look at the wheels. Are they 3 piece wheels? I don't see why they wouldn't be able to at least fix the bent part.

I have had a couple wheels that were bent and fixed here in Nashville. Price was about $100 each time.

Perhaps it is your car telling you to behave yourself and stop acting like you are in some Fast and Furious movie.

Smells are hard enough to diagnose in person. Over the internet, we're just guessing like you. If it is really something that is causing concern for you, take your car to a specialist to get checked out.

The smell is coming from the front tires. Maybe the brakes are locked up a little? I gotta jack the front up and spin the tires and see if they are freely spinning

so i traded my rims for some stock 17" rims but the tires the guy had on them were 215/50/17 is that a problem? they look kinda small and the inside of the door says 225/50/17 and 235/50/17 im planning on getting some new tires soon but will the 215s cause any problems i should be worried about?
