The age old question: 19" G37 sport wheels on a BS 06 g35x or 19" M45 sports? Colorwise, either stock, matte black or matte gun metal?

Thoughts?

Matte gun metal will only look good with contrast (like a wheel with a lip)

Also, 99% black needs contrast too.

I think I like the M45 sport wheels a little more, but either route, stance them out as much as you can.

These gunmetal look sick:

Stance as in spacers? I've always been a bit wiry about the safety of spacers. For the G37S I don't need to run them but I know for the M45, I should run at least 5 but 10 all around would be better.

The car isn't dropped but I'll probably lower it about 1 inch with G coupe fronts and sedan sport rears.

^Yea, those look good, but is that matte?

And yes, stance as in spacers. Plenty of guys on here have run them, even on track days and autoX.

I would seriously consider revised 350z suspension at the very least. It doesn't effect driveability enough to matter. But a little lower (350z lowering springs or coils) would be nicer.

Nevermind, they aren't matte. Low looks nice and all but in the winter, I like to pretend I'm a rally car so I want a very very mild drop.

^Z springs are a mild drop.

My driveway has 438ft deep ruts, so don't talk to me about winter.

I already bought my springs lol, I bought them recently so they are waiting for the spring.

Repave your driveway! lol I want to be able to drift around and not become stuck if I'm too low.

^It's not paved. Neither is the road.

You're making excuses. What you should really do is buy a beater subie for the winter

Are you kidding??? The X with my winter tires (general altimax arctics) are AWESOME! No getting stuck at all and the drifts are so controllable. It's a snow machine.

I would say more then half of the people on this site run spacers ... there is nothing wrong with them at.. there is a sedan in here running 38mm spacers without a problem ..

^^^ lol.

Edit: I'm only getting spacers if I get the M45 wheels. They are heavy though as well. It's a tough choice. So many good looking wheels out there.

LOL. I had never seen the video you were talking about, but I just found it:

RLQ, who's going to test these on a G35x?
