brake recommendation

Ok guys, I've searched the forums and its led to more questions and a headache so I'll start my own thread. I need a brake kit (pads and rotors) recommendation. I've replaced the brakes on my car twice already and am tired of the dust and squeal. I found out today that my practically brand new rotors are out of spec so I'll be replacing those and the pads. I don't drive fast most of the times as I live in Jersey and its mostly backroads here. I do get on it from time to time though so please take that into account. i'm not looking to break the bank...would like to spend maybe $600-700 on this. Thanks for any inputs.

buy the 06-07 sport 2 piston brakes. They are a bit larger and produce far less brake dust.

Thanks for the reply. It this a direct replacement for OEM or is modification necessary?

I heard the slotted ebc brakes with the green stuff pads work well.

I have had good luck using OEM Infiniti\Nissan rotors with Hawk HPS brake pads.

The braking performance is as good as or better than the stock pads (in all weather conditions.) They do create some dust, but it is nothing like the dust factory pads create.

Both the rotors and HPS pads are direct replacement parts. They will bolt directly on to your car without any modifications. You can usually find them at a good price if you look around on the Internet.

Good luck.
