If that's a volume "****," I like it. Otherwise, the interior really doesn't look all that much different. I would have expected something more substantial. BTW - I think the clock looks stupid up in the middle of the climate control readout.

I like the new curve to the center console...looks really really nice.

 

I like the idea of ***** for volume etc., but I think these look like an afterthought in a panel that is otherwise "flat" controls. Too big and not integrated into the overall panel.

It seems like the designers thought, "So they don't like the volume and temp controls and want *****, well we'll give them *****!" Boy, did they ever!

Really nothing to feel bad about. Yes, ***** are nice but we all use the controls on the wheel anyway. Did anyone complain about the ashtray being too small, because you could stick a human body in the new one. I wish we could see the new guage cluster. That looks like the only truly noticable difference... and I second the thumbs down on the clock location. Looks really stupid in the middle of the display.

A very minor face lift, required in today's competitive market. I've decided the volume control is on the "wrong" side for passenger use, since the driver has the s/w controls.

 

is the top of the navi panel brushed aluminum or black plastic? i really hope infiniti did not get cheap. the brushed aluminum would look so much better because of the uniform aluminum all the way up the dash. i cant tell from the pics.

 

Vinny its brushed aluminum!! Ive seen other pics and you could kinda tell from that one, i love the center console, and the exterior doesnt look as bad as i thought it did in other pics, i dunno though! I still like my Aero kit better, but we just have to wait to see it in person to make a better judgement..

The only reason why i asked that was that in some of the pics posted on pg 8 of the '05 section of the coupe forum have a black plastic cover over the pop up navi piece. it really makes it look cheap. it looks like brushed aluminum all of the way up the dash in these 2 pics posted in this section.it better be brushed aluminum all of the way up. other than that question i am really liking the interior. i am not sure what would look better. a 2005 DG coupe with graphite or stone interior? too many decisions.

 

hold your breath on that brushed aluminum nav... from the other pics its not... i think the stone interior looks better than the normal graphite.. i'm all into the graphite interior before but seeing that the console stays graphite on the stone interior changes things a bit.. and since the stone is new, you'll be unique for a little bit lol

 

Although I like me aero kit better still but the new exterior is growing on me now....It's pretty nice...just add the spoiler
I like the real aluminum and the chrome (I think) door handle...not the plastic one the 03 & 04 have.

Yeah, I like the Aero body kit from before but this new ext body looks good now especially in those cool looking pics Infiniti has. It does seem to look more "luxurious" and it's nice in some ways. Did you guys notice that gauge pod. It now seems to hover over the dash looking very ummm alien-like or futuristic in some odd way. Anyway I like that little odd touch. It's very different.
