This is taken facing the rear of the car. The hole utilized for the wire tuck is directly to the right and below the "MC" in the block. There isn't any room for me to maneuver the wires in there....

I have a 3/4" step bit. Would that be big enough? Or should I allocate a bigger one?

all the available hole saw kits wont cut metal. How big of a hole does it need to be?

I was able to get the harness passed the block and into the drain whole already there...no drilling needed. You just have to smash/push it all passed the block

It might not saw that is meant for metal but they WILL cut metal...trust me.

I would say to get like 1.5" so you have room for a good grommet.

No I remember what I did, it's been a while...when I did my friends coupe, his fender was off and I was able to get everything behind THE BOX and through the OEM whole. For mine, there was a whole on the lower floor of the firewall...

Box is to the right in this pic.

We didn't take the fenders off when we did mine, so its possible to do with the fenders still on, but like frankieg35 said you gotta be really careful. Since your car is parked its just safer to remove the fender John.
