When doing the headlight harness I saw where you ran the wires through the inside of the fender. What kind of brackets did you use to secure the wires to the roof of the fender? Also did you drill a hole in the fender and use nuts and bolts to hold it in place or what?

When i did my swap i did a wire tuck as well. From my experience this is what i found. The factory chassis harness ( the harness that goes to the headlights and non motor controls) can be run down through the bottom holes on either side of the battery and master cylinder compartments, this requires no drilling. The only wires that need extending are the headlight wires. When running i used some adel clamps to hold them to the fender wells and installed the fender well liners. For the engine harness im using a tucked harness from Chase bays, but they do offer tucked VQ harnesses but only for the AEM EMS ECU.

You can buy low pressure dampeners designed for lightweight hoods.Originally Posted by seihackguei

Once I can find some free time I might try this. Great write-up!

i started this today. i was able to hook everything up without cutting. but, for some reason y r the wires running to the headlight so straight/pressured?im worry that the pins might even come out from its plug. is it normal? is everyone having same problem? n i did pull the plug away from the head light to give me that extra 2-3 inch. thanks
