I can't imagine how loud your exhaust would be with the Stillen + test pipes.

For the record, your stillen already has an X pipe. Just not a resonated version.

^ i know, i want a lil louder so i would need the resonated xpipe to reduce in-cabin noise.

I just pre ordered my ARK grip exhaust.
Ive been told by a mechanic that there's is the best x flow mid he had seen. they also come with resonators, which is good bc i do plan on gettn HFC's
I went to check it out. http://www.arkperformance.com/Produc...de=SM1101-003G . I have inquired about the pre order with Ark's vendor on driver. I will let you guys know after install o.0

Replacing a non resonated X-Pipe with a resonated X-Pipe should definitely reduce in cabin noise, as well as outside cabin noise. You are wanting something pretty difficult if you want to make the car louder but quieter in the cabin. You could look at having your tips extended out past the bumper another half-inch or so. I don't have any experience with the Stillen, but adding a non-resonated X-pipe, and test pipes.. that would be LOUD. Just don't do anything drastic, research, find some sound clips and make an educated guess.

someone please answer me this... what is the difference between a test pipe and hfc in terms of performance, i know that test pipes tend to make the car sound raspier but in terms of performance, which is better and why? i cant find a topic that talks about what im asking specifically

The difference in performance is usually only a few hp in favor of test pipes.

I got a few questions about test pipes as well.

People talk about smell of gas.. Does that go away over time or after they been broken in or whatever?
Also do you loose low end power with test pipes?

I'm debating about getting megans v2 resonated myself.

Also do you loose low end power with test pipes? Yes, but not with ART pipes

I never used any regular tps so I don't know about them

im almost sure test pipes make more power, but is it really true that you loose low end power with them?

Oh I know I may get used to them... it's just passengers or people outside the car I don't want asking if something is wrong with your car it always smells like gas etc.

Nor do I really wanna loose low end power. I don't think test pipes are for me
