What would you consider a good price for the 2004 G35x?
I've been to a bunch of dealerships over the past 3 weeks and this is the best price that I have received:

2004 G35x
w / everything but the NAV.
$31,300

Do you think I can do better?

 

that sounds like a pretty good price-- i picked up mine 3 weeks ago for 31,680 for the X -- everything but NAVI.. where are u located?

 

I am in NY. Long Island to be exact. Honestly, I have no guarantee that I can get that price again. I just wanted a realistic number that I should expect to pay for that car. Looks good so far.

 

which dealer are you working with? i had a decent quote from millennium, but a guy in NJ-- ramsey infiniti gave me that price... i'm sure he can go lower now, esp since he was so aggresive with me, he may go lower for you. PM me if you want more details

 

Sounds like a great price to me. Best I have gotten on a regular G35 with the same options was higher than that. Oh, and I am going on record and saying Tampa Infiniti is IMPOSSIBLE to deal with. They have a total "take it or leave it" attitude (could it be because I am 20 years younger than him?). Sorry about the rant, I would take that deal in a heartbeat if I were you.

 

I went to edmunds.com, priced the options, then called about 14 dealers in the NY/NJ area and found 3 willing to do edmunds plus $590. Took my test drive at Millennium before the edmunds inquiry, went back and they were willing to match but couldn't locate the car. Kings Infiniti in Brooklyn got the sale. Ray Catena also matched but couldn't locate. Kings won't do Synthetic Oil so I service at Millennium. Closer anyway.

Edmunds is now updated with invoice pricing on the '05's (but not yet on the 6MT). Also mentions a little bit about the Skyline as a potential 2007 model in the US.

Go into Infiniti.com and check out dealer inventories of 04s. You will see that most of the cars left are AWD models, this means that they will deal as they don't want these cars to lay on the lots too much longer. Plus Infiniti is running major ads for AWD cars right now. Perfect environment to get major bucks off MSRP.
