Yeah the place next to us has a ricey civic and all the managers at my shop and drivers laugh as he revs by our store. He knows my car stock will crap on him.

Just out of curiosity, I thought recalls were safety related (like it could cause the possibility of injury or death). Would a third brake light apply? Mine doesn't work either, so I'd definitely jump on this if I thought I'd have a chance w/ my 03 (doggy).
I just had my CPS's replaced and my VIN number was just out of range and NO DICE! Infiniti would not even consider repairing mine under the recall and it was DEFINITELY a safety issue. Wife was driving and it shut down on her in an intersection. If others weren't paying attention, she would have gotten plowed.

I'd say a brake light is safety related. I am personally not a huge fan of whiplash or worse-yet, death.

I submitted mine sometime last week.

 

I actually say an 07-08 sedan that had just one of the LED "circles" out on one of the taillights.

The 3rd brake light worked, but one taillight only half worked. Tried to get next to him to tell him so maybe have it fixed under warranty but he was one of those "weaver" types of drivers that changes lanes 5 times to gain 1 spot in traffic.
