I likely know the answer to this question already, but if the car isn't exhibiting any symptoms, will the dealer check for worn bushings on the compression rods for free? I have 24,000 miles and the bumper-to-bumper warranty expires in about 6 weeks.

I suppose I can always ask the service writer at the dealership and get an answer as well. Just wanted to know what other G owners have experienced. Thanks.

nope. if dealer doesnt replace anything, they wont get paid by warranty company/nissan so they wont bother if you dont show any symptoms

I went in for the axle clicking under warranty. The dealer actually noticed that both my compression bushings were shot. They replaced them that day under warranty. They said it was a common occurence so they try to keep them in stock. I only had a month left on my bumper to bumper when I went in.
