hey guys, just got my new exhaust and wanted to share with you kind folks, i love this exhaust. its not loud but has a very aggressive growl when you slam the gas pedal to the floor. its only about 5% louder than our stock exhaust. I got it from Stillen.com.

Thats not the Stillen made one, but looks like a Greddy or HKS one they sell.... Not sure i'm crazy about the coffee can look on a high end car like ours.... But if you like it, thats all that matters... Enjoy

it is made by stillen, i bought from stillen here in california and it has stillen tag on top of the tip. and yes to each his own.

 

Each too his own is right, but when you offer your car for opinions expect some that aren't favourable. It's great if you like the look, for me i prefer the stock look on everything.

It's the stillen rear section only exhaust. Looks pretty similiar to greddy and fuji though. It's $320 on stillen's site.

The Polished Stainless Steel is unmistakable with anything else! Very nice man...

You notice much power increase? Also do you notice any droning from the exhuast? I know on my Stillen Catback I get a little droning inside..

no droning at all almost sounds like stock by more aggressive. this is the reason why i didnt get the cat-back because of the droning sound.

 

Did you get to hear that muffler before you purchased it? I want to get down to Stillen soon and check out the various exhausts but need to listen to them before forking over any money. Just wondering if they had any installed on cars.

i think they have one installed on one of their cars which is an altima. i dont think it will sound the same as it would on a g35, but will give you an idea of what to expect. no i didnt know how it sounded until i bought i kinda trusted "kenny" the person i bought it from and you know what he came through for me.. it sounds awesome

 

My newphew put the Stillen mufflers on his altima. The sound is just slighting louder then stock, but gets pretty loud after 5000 RPM's..

Not sure if it will sound similar on the G35..

i actually have one on my G sedan too. it sounds great and at start-up, it has a nice deep tone to it and noticable throughout the rpm range. but not loud or obnoxious. i'm actually planning to sell mine however, since i'm thinking of getting the HKS rear section because of the more OEM look. (I got singled out on the highway for speeding because of the "coffee-can" look).

anyway, its a very nice tone with no drone. add it with a y-pipe and it sounds even nicer . . .
