Car makes Grinding Noise.

Hello all, today i was driving home till an idiot in a mercedes slid nearly hitting me . so i slammed my brakes and turned away from him and while the wheels were turned to the right so i slid into a curb , denting my front left driver rim. It was a pretty hard hit luckily he didn't hit my car but now when im reaching speeds over 25 a hard grinding/rubbing noise . Did i damage either bearings or the wholel axle please help . I have been having the worse luck this week thanks everybody..:bang head:

u shoulda prob let him hit your car i mean he would have had to fix it for you.

edit: why do you not check under the wheel.. take it off and inspect the area.

lift up the damaged side, take wheel off and inspect the area.. wouldnt hurt. if anything put your spare on and test drive it.. if no noise.. u at least know its the wheel.

I did swap out the rim for the spare. Still same rubbing noise. I'm guessing it is the wheel bearing ???

did u inspect all the metal stuff around? made sure nothing was dented or cracked or broken? hopefully someone can verify if its the bearing.
