2005 G35x: alignment issue?
2005 G35x: alignment issue?
Just purchased '05 G35 AWD (clean CARFAX, dealer I trust). Drove it for about 10 days and 500+ highway miles and generally happy with car. Tires were going to need replacing soon so bought 4 new at local NTB store (Yokohama AS530). Wheel balancing and 4 wheel alignment done with install of new tires.
Car felt different on local streets and definite vibration at highway speeds. Took it back to NTB and they said that the 2 front tires were out of balance and the alignment was out of spec (after about 50 miles???)
It seems better, but still not right. I plan on taking it back to them again, but any ideas?

I'm pretty sure it hasn't been lowered but I guess it's possible - it would seems like if someone wanted to lower it, they would lower it enough to be noticeable?
The quality of that shop is definitely a question.

yea try a different shop, Most of the new Hi-tek places have people that work with what they learned in books.
Sometimes a small shop, thats been in business does a better job, cause he actually performed such jobs before.
Like in Brooklyn, Ny Most of the lowered g35s end up going to a small russian shop, just because one of the mechanics knowns and has experience with lowered g35s...
