Re: Wondering

If this is a base model w/leather, usually optioned with a trunk mat only, invoice is $27,759 which includes destination charge; MSRP is $30,265. I would target $500 over invoice, about $28,250.

There don't seem to be many FL owners on board, but let us know what part of the state you're in, someone may be able to recommend a dealer and salesperson.

Why would you assume no leather?

No, a few hundred off MSRP is not a good deal on an automatic G35 sedan.

Re: Wondering

I think if you are buying you can offer around 29000. I just lease one in Miami, Fl from a factory offer deal with the dealer which was a base model for around 28700 no leather this was the plain model and by the way there are not many base models out there since most have upgrades thats how they make the money. I couldn't lowered the price because of the offer .

Re: Wondering

It is a base with leather and 30,000 is out of the door. This includes tax tag dealer fees all of that crap.

Re: Wondering

Depending on how much the tax & title & "crap" is, then it probably is a good deal.. but 30k + tax, title, etc., is not necessarily great.

Re: Wondering

Sounds like a good deal to me. 5% tax on $28,500 is $1400, so your not getting a bad deal, especially if your tax rate is higher. I had to pay 7.2% because I live in a damn college town. 1 mile to the east and I'd have saved $300 GRRRR.

I don't agree with adding in "dealer crap" such as ad and paperwork fess, as that should all be asborbed by them an not you. Invoice + destination (if not included in invoice) + a little profit is what you should work from. Even if they sell at invoice they're going to make some money, just not as much as they'd like.

Here's another thought on the profit. Figure it costs them $50/hour while your on their lot--salaries for the people you're dealing with. Then multiply that times 3 for a decent profit and cost of maintaining facilities. Assume you'll be there for 3 hours, that's about $500. Use that as your "profit" addend.

Re: Wondering

Anytime you can get the car "Out the Door" for the same price as MRSP, then your doing real good. Because basicaly your getting it for a few hundred over invoice.

Re: Wondering

I gotta agree with Dan here. My target suggestion to you was $28,250, plus tag & title ($250 or so, it varies) brings you to $28,500. 6% tax (assuming you're not in MIami-Dade, otherwise 6.5%) is $1,710, a grand total out-the-door of $30,210. You're getting a deal there buddy!

Unless you had a trade in you didn't mention, that affects the sales tax, and ultimately how good a deal you got.

Re: Wondering

You can try South Motors Infiniti.Took delivery 31 March 2003(actually early morning April 1, 2003) of an Ivory Pearl/Willow 2003.5 G35- sedan w/ auto/prem/sport/aerodynamic -pack w/ rear-spoiler for $33,400 (sticker was $36,800) @ 4.14% interest.

Talk to Franz Xantus or Ed Biehl the Sales Manager. BTW: Last week they had a CB/Willow 6MT/prem Coupe on the floor (had the 18's and Brembos) no aero pack. They were willing to let it go for $34.5K

Re: Wondering

One of the best prices I've seen came from Southwest Infiniti in Houston.
It was $30,000 drive out for a silver sedan, auto, w/leather, sport package, and trunk mat. Modesty prohibits me from saying who owns this great vehicle.
