NFSP - If i make it it wont be in the G im waiting on Haltech ECU plugs to finish up the back half of the harness and still needs to get tuned. If i go ill ride up with all the alabama/atlanta people but with the amount of orders that we have on hand ill prob be stuck working weekends like i have been for the last 2 months

We will be at import alliance for sure though this summer, with the G35 and our Vq35 swapped 240sx

Tolboothwilley - It was finished and there were some things that i wanted to change up - ECU, custom -16an tucked radiator, NO2 setup and some other little things. Look on the first page there are a couple videos i posted on youtube.

 

I don't get the problem with hptuners... You could have just got a copy of it and tuned little things yourself

 

I got my Haltech for the same price i would have paid for the VCM suite pro version The LS1 Gm ecu is slow to learn anything and a pain when it comes to little changes that are made in a setup. For the power and things that i wanted out of a ECU haltech was the perfect coice. If it were the E40 ecu then i would have stuck with it being it is much faster to learn and a amazing ECU but since it wasnt it got tossed.

How long did it take for the job to me completed and is it over the 10K range to have all that done?

 

With tuning and all it was just a tad over 10k. Once i had everything mocked up for a harness, power steering, fuel lines, gauge cluster and all it took just shy of 6 months or so waiting for parts here and there fabbing here and there.

Thanks for the comments, i should have some more pictures here next week once i get the water pump back from welding.

 

That is something I might look into when i get 100K miles on my car.. I look forward to seeing the new pictures

I couldnt get off of work thrusday even if i called in a bomb threat. Your motor is not what you should be worried about, id be more worried about tires lasting all the way up and back lol

Prob wont see me this year either with work and version 2.0 on the car im lucky if im going to make it to Import alliance in the summer.
