So I'm getting really tired of running a stock exhaust.
I figured I'd go with a Megan Racing muffler

and pop in a 2.5" straight pipe right after the cats thru to the muffler. ( i hope i dont get any sensor issues)

thoughts?

mmm i figured the megan muffler would eliminate most of the drone

 

not with a straight pipe

 

Slap in a xpipe maybe..

 

my megan exhaust is LOUD! but then again i have test pipes, ypipe and catback

 

Hmmm, definitely going to have to give the resonator a second thought...a lot of drone would be annoying

Edit: also, does anyone know how the exhaust would sound if i just swapped the muffler? sound clips or from experience?

 

I just cut the resonator out from my midpipe and the drone is really not that bad at all. The only drawback is some rasp at WOT above 4k rpm...

 

thats perfect, im dooing it lol.
I rarely go over 3k rpm so its fine
