That rear dent over the wheel well can probably be taken out by a paintless dent removal guy. Google Carmedic, I think they are a national company... I would personally take care of the body work before I started thinking about wheels and other upgrades. Just me tho. Used BMW Portland Oregon

If you think that's expensive maybe you should sell the car and buy a bicycle instead. Sounds like you just got your license and need to be taught how to drive without "accidentally" running into things.

On my way to FL I had my gf drive over night and she hit a tire that probably exploded from a truck and it cracked my bumper a bit. I had it repaired asap at the dealership with an OEM bumper and parts. Painted and everything the cost was roughly $975 (give or take it was up in there near a grand). I couldn't live driving a nice car with a cracked bumper so I paid a grand. Now I wish I ordered a after market bumper. You live, you learn, you pay.

I can say without a doubt the only reason i got the front damaged because i swerved to avoid getting killed that rainy night. y'all act like i did it on purpose. I didnt want a head on collision with a freaking ram truck which was speeding on a rainy night. Like i said i was only responsible for the front damage and the back. So what?

It is what it is...

Like i said we're not perfect and some of y'all are *******s of the highest caliber... lol.

So a crack here, a dent here, it can be fixed and will be. Yuk it up guys let's have fun at my expense. When someone rear ends you cracks up your precious little car, then what?

brah.... what do you think... that they just tape off the area and fill in the scratches?

They have to sand the entire panel down past the clear-coat, repaint it, then clear-coat over it.

As far as being a decent driver, no offense but you have had a car for two weeks. You can't drive for $hit. There is a extremely large chance that your accident could have been avoided if you were more experienced.

Lol if theres anyones advice id take it would be Danny's (GreenGoblin) That damage looks pretty decent and the price you were quoted is relatively cheap for that damage.

Ahhhhh its guys like you that don't last very long here.... If you cant take criticism your going to have a hard time making it through life bud. Alot of the people that are telling you these things for your own good have been there and done that, simply put....They know their S***. Take your time and listen to what senior members in here have to say because itll be the same ones preventing you from spending too much on these things.

Well if that is indeed the case, perhaps you should have stated that from the beginning, because now it looks like you're changing your story.
I'm not calling you a liar or anything, I wasn't there, I don't know what happened... what I do know is you started by saying:

Avoiding a head-on collision and misjudging distances in a drive through are two very different things, so which is it?

Simple... rebuild it, we have the technology. Better than it was before. Better, stronger, faster.

I'm going to agree, the price you were quoted is mad cheap already. The scrape on the door = bodywork + paint both doors, and really they should paint the whole side so it blends. The other dents ~might~ be able to be removed by a paintless dent company, but they'd have to see it to be sure. The front bumper will be a PITA to fix properly if the scuffs are deep, plus the bumpers should be painted with a flex agent so if it gets hit again there's a better chance of the paint staying on the car and not flaking off in giant sheets.

FWIW, this happened to my car a few weeks ago -

Car was hit while parked by an '11 Ford Expedition. The estimate was for ~$2600 from his insurance company.

The cracked grill and small hole was the near miss collision. the white scuff on the front was from the white castle drive through and the back dent was from me backing up too fast hitting the curb. Clear?

Just backing out of a parking spot - my G was across the street and he tagged it with his right rear corner. At least he waited for me and didn't leave the scene.
