sound after ztube install

sound after ztube install

I have installed a ztube and have a slight whistle sound then i press the gas while parked,,,, i'm did not notice rpm level for the whistle ,,, did i do something wrong or is it normal?

Maybe your clamp before the maf is loose, or you forgot to plug the vacuum line on top back it? Do you have a sound clip?

Perfectly normal.


It gets loud around 3k rpm when driving too.

ive never heard any type of whistle. i just noticed it being a little louder.

Sounds like there's a leak. I have no whistling with mine.

I agree with everyone else--no whistle here...just gets progressively louder toward higher rpms during mid-to-wot.

Just installed mine yesterday and can say theres def no whistle. Just like everyone says it just gets louder from mid-rpm to WOT. I would recheck the hoses and make sure they are sealed and clamps are tightened

Mine does the same thing and everything is attached and tight. It got even louder when i installed the stillen popcharger and box.

Sounds like the clamp near your MAF sensor isn't connected securely. Try seeing if everything is in place and not sticking out.

is this the one attached to the rubber hose? i'll re chech everything tomorrow
