Needle Passed the "E"
Needle Passed the "E"
Through poor planning on my part and not being very observant, I ran the G passed the "E" mark! I would say it was the needle's thinckness passed before I finally realized, "Hey, dumb ***, you need to get gas!" I filled the tank and put in 18.5 gallons. So when you're gauge reads "E," you still have about two gallons left.

Our tanks are 20 US gallons. The low fuel light should come on at about 3 gallon level.
It seems Nissan erred on the side of safety as far as fuel level indication.

I have 4 gallons when the light comes on. On time I was on the freeway and continued to drive(knowing I had 4 gallons left) and when I did stop for gas I put 19.5 gallons in. By far the lowest I have take my G.
