G's feeling the heat

It's 6:30 am Wednesday morning on my way to work and i turn down the volume on the final stretch to work and i hear my fans are on even though i do not have the air conditioning turned on with less than a 10 minute drive to work i look down at my temperature gauge and it's almost at the 3/4 mark so i rush in to the parking lot and after 8 hrs i open the radiator and it's empty, so i refill with coolant and drive it to the dealer which is a mile from my house. Before i get home from the dealer my wife calls me an tells me there is a stain on the floor from where my car took a pee pee, apparently i missed it on my out that morning. In total the radiator needs to be replaced and also replacing the hoses and thanks to extended warranty only cost me the deductible. Only thing, if anyone has an answer, the warranty company would not pay for the infiniti radiator instead are sending one to the dealer. I'm assuming it is a refurb radiator, does anyone have any other idea what kind they might send.

It still would be ok.... I wouldn't worry to much... Infiniti warranties 1year or 12k miles on all work performed at the dealer

May not apply to non-oem parts thought. He might want to check on that first.

Just over a week ago I had a clogged radiator replaced. The non OEM radiator was $200 cheaper.

Now, if I had driven my car 3000 miles/year more, it could have failed under warranty.

Ok so within the last 10 months my car has overheated twice
First time was a bad thermostat and most recently radiator and replaced my hoses. Kinda worried about my head gasket now. Don't see any oil and car is running fine.
Anything i should do to avoid future problems ?
