Get a coupe!
It looks pretty clean in the pics, but be VERY critical for dents and scratches. Inspect the wheels like your polishing them. Check the engine bay like a hawk, you dont want to end up with a leaky new (to you) car. The price is pretty low for what I would expect to pay, so there's prob a reason for it.
Otherwise, great buy! Speaking of the coupe, I've got 2 kids and its not a big deal to transport them around. The X is a definate plus if you need it, a downer if you dont.
Happy hunting!

It looks like a nice car! Like stated above be very thorough with your inspection of the car. Possibly get an infiniti dealer to do a used car inspection. The price is pretty competitive I believe. Is not a bad deal by any means if it is a clean car!

i would love a coupe but i live in the north east so rwd is not an option... the kbb is valued at 15,500 in excellent condition and i didnt find any dings scratches or dents on the car... the engine bay looked clean nothing leaking, one of the rims had a scuff but no biggy... i put a deposit down and am gonna have my mechanic check it out.... plus it has a 6 month warranty...

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

You said the best thing you can do, have a trusted mechanic look at it. We can look at all the pretty pictures in the world but have no clue in reality what the actual condition of the engine, tranny, suspension, ect. is.
And always dicker hard on the price. It's worth a try, I've gotten some really good deals in the past including my G.

not a bad deal - but looking on cars.com within the same zip code (02909), saw some 05 G35's under 100k miles for under $15k - so a lot of this depends on your budget of course (which hopefully you have factored in routine maintenance, which could be ~$1k per year)
if i was you still work down on the price..
sometimes kbb value dont mean anything
to really get a good deal. go by the black book..
those prices are the prices the dealers get for ..
i still would say 9500 most 10500 . out the door price including all fees and taxes and what not
