Fuel Gauge not reading correct amount of gas!

Hey guys Ive tried searching but didnt find anything. So I've gotten stranded twice already, its pretty much not telling me the right amount of gas.

Has anybody had the same problem? Should I bring it to the dealership?

If you are running out of gas at the half tank mark it will be something in the swirl generator. What precent is it reading when you run out?

Read that thread, it has a DIY for possible fix.

Also reset your trip gauge when you get gas and figure out when you need to get gas based on your mileage and try not to rely on your gauge since its not reading correctly.
