Smoke from Engine..but no warning lights?
#17
Would this be the same thing?
I had just put 500 miles on the clutch not going over 4k rpm and decided I'd do my first pull to probably 6500 or 7k rpm to about 60 mph. This was probably a mile from where I live which was about a minute away. So we slow down to turn and once we're under the carport and I shut off the engine, a decent amount of smoke comes between the hood and front windshield. I opened the hood and it's still smoking but clears up pretty quickly, I'd say no more than 10 seconds. I started it up to go around to park it by our shop and there's no smoke while driving or when I stop. It sounds like it was just the oil burning but I'm not sure because I'm new to the platform and cars in general. Coming from an 07 coupe 6mt with 115k miles.
Edit: I found out it was my dipstick. It's such a pain!
