The weight is not worth mentioning, I was on almost 3/4 tank, spare, and all the little things throughout the car. I went on a spur of the moment, I'm just glad I run faster than 90% of cars in my area, even when my G is a bit fatty.

I actually won a competition with my G the one and ony time I took it racing. Ran 14.7-14.8 all day and took out all my buddies in their Mustangs. I was supposed to race my Mustang but a small mechanical quirk forced me to leave it home and race my DD.

Of course, it was bracket racing, and everyone else had a 5-spd and was running 13's, 12's and even quicker....so I had an advantage

The trophy even has a Mustang on it. They hated me that day

Why would they hate you, they entered a bracket race...

Some of most consistent bracket cars are like old 4 cylinder 3 speed automatic cars that run 17-18s. No wheel spin, 1 shift and Trophy.

Would be a great piece of put in your garage and invite them mustang guys over for a brew or two

I wasn't getting discouraged, I knew the altitude was messing with my car. When I take on the 03 6mt Coupe next weekend, I wil do what I can to shave weight.
