I do agree though, for someone who does not have them already, the Akebono is a better option.

I'm not even sure OEM Brembos are available anymore. I hope all I have to do is a rebuild down the road.

just make sure you get the Brembo rear caliper mounting bolts and be ready to trim your dust shields

i'm truly jealous you're getting the m45 sport wheels. i see an m on my daily drive to work at just think how great those wheels would look.

as far as brake upgrade i think i'm going to stick with the brembos if i can find them. if is happen to run across any 370z's and can get the ake's what all would i need for you guys to swap? i'd gladly pull and sell to any member who's looking for the ake upgrade.

Glad I found this thread, wondering..I'm about to purchase a set of brembos with pads, rotors, lines. My one concern is that one of the rear calipers, while the previous owner was getting them removed broke the bolt to the brake line.

Pic is attached.

I'm sure you can buy a new one at the dealer. I would make sure the threads are intact. You wouldn't want a leak.

You mean new bolt? The person I'm buying it from has a new bolt that he purchased. Just never got a chance to remove and replace it. That's what I'm afraid of, that the thread may be stripped and cause a leak.

Well, you won't know until you remove the broken one first.

^Lol, I know. I'm actually picking up the caliper tomorrow to have the bolt removed and inspect the thread. If it's good then I'll make the deal.
