anyone done a brembo caliper upgrade?

i know some of the g's came with brembo calipers and all and i'm wondering if i happen to get my hands on a set could i swap them onto my 05 sedan without any hassle? would it be a direct swap? what all would i need for it to be done? anyone on here done this and if so was it a noticable difference? any pics? just wondering because i plan on doing my usual multiple junk yard runs when it cools down and if i came across any brembo calipers i'd like to grab them. any input is appreciated and when i do decide to make my run to the yards i'll make a post seeing if anyone else needs anything. right now i just plan on grabbing up all z tubes, oem hid's, aftermarket parts, and any other parts i can flip for quick cash. anyway, any input on the brake question is appreciated.

Yes OEM Brembos from the Coupe are a direct swap on the Sedan, a bunch of Sedans have done this mod.

To do the swap you need the calipers, rotors, brake lines, and rear caliper mounting bolts. Also you'll need to trim or remove your stock rear dust shields.

Are those blue brembos oem or aftermarket or did they paint them? I've only seen the gold colored calipers.

They were painted by the owner of the car and installed by myself. As well as the Brembos on the red sedan.

technically you need to swap the MC as well since the bore diameter is different due to the fluid volume requirements of the Brembos...

However nobody does it

Back to topic, will there be any fitment issues such as the rims not fitting on due to the brembos? Are the calipers and rotors the same size as the stock ones?

Stock sedan wheels won't fit. Sport 18s may fit, but a spacer would definitely be required. I'm sure others can chime in on this. The rotors are larger than 03-05 brakes. The issue, however, are the calipers. They're much larger and stick out further, requiring a wheel that will clear them.
