I suggest checking your oil level ASAP. Too much oil can be as bad as too little if the crank is slapping the oil as it travels.

Also, next time the SES (check engine) light comes on, go have the code read. Autozone can loan you a reader, or buy one for $75.

There is a separate "Low oil" light for low oil situations...but check dipstick ALWAYS before and after adding
