Perhaps I'm just being paranoid but...

I feel like my alternator is going to shet. I replaced the battery 3 months ago, had some issues with the POS Bose radio system but had it fixed.

Now when the headlights turn on the dashlights dim drastically. I'm thinking its got to be the alternator since the battery is new. I know the lights will dim some whenever the headlights come on but it just seems like its fading too much.

What do y'all think?

Thanks!

Not to insult your intelligence but have you checked the instrument dimmer wheel. It should be right next to the trunk release, maybe you hit it accidentally.

I've done this before too.

And the minute it happened I was thinking "I hope its not too expensive to fix this issue"

Luckily it wasn't

I have done this also while cleaning the dash. I thought something was seriously wrong with the car.
