updated with sway bar information, many thanks to Hotchkis for doing the R&D to finally bring an aftermarket product to market.

save up your lunch money and take advantage of the discounted initial price.

Awesome thread

So my question - Found a 2003-07 coupe engine and I have a 2004 G35X. Will the engine be compatible or will the AWD tranny make that an issue? Its a complete motor and should be a drop and drive

Someone else told me that the only thing I would have to retain from my current engine is the oil pan since they are slightly different but the rest should be drop and go. Is that true?

if phil@ grubbs said it would be fine then i would take his word. the oil pan is different to make room for the front differential. I love when changing the oil, I take off the oil filter and oil pours all over the front sway bar.

Great Thread!!!

I just picked up a 2004 X about six months ago, and apparently theres not much X's in SoCal lol. I was able to help out Hotchkis in letting them use my car for the front sway bar fitment, so hopefully helped out you guys out there looking for that part.

I just wanted to confirm that the 350z Y-Pipe will be a direct fit on my car? Correct, right?

Thanks again!

Yeah RC18 thanks for being the test person. It was either I drive from Wa to there or they fly up here. Both would be spendy for both of us.

One more thing you should add. Which Super chargers will fit on our cars? Even with some modifications? I can't seem to find any GTM or Vortech but mainly looking for vortech but nothing!!
