lower control arms and shocks

so what are the limiting factors keeping us from using rwd front shocks?
is it simply the lower control arm uses a different bushing? would it be possible to switch to a rwd lca?

Not so simple. They changed the strut and LCAbecause the strut needs to go around the front drive axles. If you convert to RWD you can run the RWD struts and LCA's.

Front AWD strut

Front RWD strut

Notice a difference? The "C" is designed to clear the front drive axles

Fortune now makes a coil over kit for the X. That should be added to the list.

Also, a Koni shock can be put into the stock front strut housing to gain performance up front, since Koni does not make a strut for the front of the X. Basically they cut the top off, remove the guts and slide the Koni inside. It keeps the lower mount and everything the stock strut needs to be mounted in the X.

Anyone know if an 08 G35x transfer case would fit on an 04 G35x?

The difference is the part # model 1 says 33100CG000 while the other says 33103CG000. I called 1 Infiniti dealership and they said it would fit while the other said that it would not. would be nice if it did! or even a diff swap. they asked for the VIN numbers and that's how they performed it. eBay says the same thing. but I don't want to just buy a transfer case without knowing for sure

No it will not,

Also wanted to mention if you need parts. Japan has it for a lot less than stealership prices. only thing is probably the shipping that gets ya. transfer cases from these cars will fit our 03-06 sedans http://jp-carparts.com/nissan/part_s...03&part2=CG000

Short & sweet question: Has anyone done stainless steel brake lines on their 1st Gen G35x? If yes, what did you go with?

Background: I've done quite a bit of searching and have come up with conflicting information. I've seen posts on here (and elsewhere) with guys saying they got the StopTech lines (for example: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...ke-lines.html)...but when I look around - it seems like StopTech doesn't make front brake lines specifically for the AWD model - which left me wondering if it really matters. I called StopTech to get a final answer and they confirmed that they have never made front line kits for AWD models but the guy couldn't give me a solid answer if the non-X lines would work or not. They recommended Stillen - who actually just resells Goodridge - and those kits don't differentiate if they will work with AWD applications (plus they are much more expensive than StopTech).
