Tune or No Tune?
Tune or No Tune?
I got a 03 sedan i don't think its a revup model. its a 5at
i don't have a ton done to it, z tube pop charger, art pipes, coupe middy,
3.5vsld swap.
Would it be good to get a tune or would i really not see much out of it?
Also would any performance shop do tunes or can you buy your own tuner?
I've herd that resetting your ecu would actually tune itself with bolt on modifications i don't know much about tuning.

Unfortuantly there isn't a way to tune your ECU anymore now that TS isn't doing them anymore. Your best bet would be to pick up something like the Apex'i AF-C NEO to correct your Air/Fuel ratio since you're probably running a little lean.
You'll probably have to bring the car to a tuning shop to have it properly tuned since any mess up could possibly destroy your engine.

Osirus has a ecu upgrade you can do... but its not worth it with the parts you have right now... buy some more parts then do a tune after you have all the parts you want
I think you need to do some research on here, the answers are all over this forum. I don't think any 03 had the rev up. Don't think you would necessarily need the tune but you would see a power increase from it. Search
I wouldn't worry about it with the mods you have done, as others have said, you would probably need an aftermarket ECU, or at least a 'piggy back'
The gains would be minimal for the $$ you would spend as you haven't really changed anything to cause the factory tune to be unsuitable.
Also, I don't think the rev-up engines appeared until the 2005+ models.

03 didn't have the rev-up. Besides that, he's an 03 with a 5AT...most likely a grey connecter ECU, therefore you belong in this thread...
