So anyone from the earlier pages installed this on their X sedan? I have a 05 one and I only have kinetix HFC installed and ive been warned its going to be loud perfect! hahaha so where can I find this besides megan racings website? I cant even find it on ebay but if it fits my 05 g35x sedan I'm ordering it right away in the next few weeks. Also is this a actual cat back? it doesnt seem like one.

Reaper, did your megan catback come with a Y pipe too? Cause im on ebay trying to get one and theres one with a Y pipe and more expensive than the others

 

A while ago I was able to find the oers (not including y pipe) for $415 shipped from a seller on eBay, don't remember who it was. Got the y separately for $170...you'll have to look around a bit or even send offers on some of those auctions.

I can't wait to hear what Megan resonated test pipes, Megan y pipe, and Megan oers sound like with my supercharger

 

Will the megan catback exhaust fit on a sedan 2003? i been reading some things that says the muffler is pointed the other way so it might not fit... is that true?

 

The muffler is pointed right, but the hangers need to be changed..the hangers face different directions. Any muffler shop should be able to do that for you

 

i would have to go to a muffler shop? I cant do it myself?

 

So I'm just going through the thread here but has anyone noticed hp gains? Or will I notice gains if i get the OERS catback and the Megan y pipe with it? I know the OERS doesnt come with the Y pipe which I thought it did because it was a catback... Anyways If i get the Y pipe it will have no affect on my HFC right? I don't have to take them off? Yes I did just ask that :P Not really sure because I bought a K and N filter used it for a 200km then bought JWT without realizing I no longer needed the drop in filter. Noob mistake on my part hahaha Whats a good price for a Megan Y pipe? I found 371 before shipping for the Catback and thats the cheapest Ive seen not sure about the y pipe though.

 

Y pipe will have no effect on the HFC's, it will fit just fine. For the Megan Y pipe i would expect 150-200

 

So do I even need the Megan Y pipe for hp gains? Will the Oe RS catback give me gains by itself? That means If I get the OE RS megan catback I should stop looking for a coupe midpipe? Or is coupe midpipe better with the OE RS muffler?

But a few members in this thread have had it installed. Why exactly has every ebay seller msged me back saying it will not fit? Does it need different brackets to be installed or?
