the megan y pipe is better matched with the oers because the y portion is 2.5" and it has a 3" collector to mate perfectly to oers which begins at 3"...most even flow

So is that link that the person just a couple post down a good deal? For me its 639 and 99 shipping which is 740 for the y pipe as well... Should I look elsewhere? I found this site http://www.importpartspro.com/mrcbsig034d.html Which one comes with the Pipe and muffler no Y pipe but for me its 488 shipped should i get the OE RS there and just look for the Y pipe elsewhere?

You can get the y-pipe shipped for about a 100 bucks on ebay...megan one is just a duplicate of the others. Search g37 y pipe

Can anyone confirm if the link will fit 05 AWD if we modify the hangers?
I know the muffler itself will fit AWD if you move the hangers. But can the actual catback pipe fit with a mod to the hanger or is it a completely different shape?

Thaaaaaaaaaanks!

yes it will fit AWD 100%. The only difference on AWD is the Y pipe and this is a Y back exhaust

Thanks, I am thinking the Megan may be a little too raspy/drone for me from the videos I have heard.

May just opt for the Magnaflow 14815, pretty sure that hanger will need to be adjusted for an X. Hard making decisions when I have not heard any in person....

Thanks

Candiotica and/or Mijon,

Can you please let me know if you go ahead and order this exahust to confirm two things.
One, it fits
Two, it fits without modifying any brackets or anything else.

I have an '06 X and will jump on this if either of you get it and install it. My exhaust is shot. Rattling like crazy and I'd rather tear out the old exahust instead of going through the trouble to tear out just he heat shields (causing the rattling).

Thanks!

I ended up ordering the magnaflow 14830.. Probably just going to add a straight pipe..

I would like to know how the Megan Y pairs with the exhaust and X though..

Does the Megan Y pipe clear the transfer case on the X? I just got the Y back for now than later I will decide on a Y pipe and hi flow cats.

Oh it better! People said they have had no problem with it I know the Muffler and down pipe will fit for sure no problem but not sure about the Y pipe... So before this comes in the mail is there anybody that has one for their X and had to do some kind of modification to make it fit?
