Black and silver?
Black and silver?
I really just cant decide, it buggs me all day, and i dont wanna spend 1800 and end up not liking what i bought. Its between these two wheels nothing else. just hard because my lower trim is black and not matching silver on the car. so shall i go satin black or gloss with a chrome lip. Their both 19x8.5 i'm also having my window trim blacked out soon. really just want some opinions and no smart remarks. Thanks.

i say go with black with the polished lip, i just realized your car is silver and black with polished lip would look really clean.
i voted for satin black not realizing that your car was silver so take one vote from there and move it to gloss black/chrome lip! haha

I'd leave the rims and focus attention on the wild colour change scheme you have. The partiallytinted tails, black skirts, blacked out badging, it's a hot mess right now son!
I'm with painting the skirts/lips before anything.
Anyways, my vote: If you're painting the skirts, go with gloss.
If you're not cause you like it, then stick with satin or it'll look silly (IMO, it's going to look silly until youpaint the skirts regardles LOL)

yeah well i'm 19 with a dwi, so its not easy to get everything i want done. And after i get wheels i'm having the taillights tinted with overlay this time instead of nightshades, they were blacked out that's just 10months later.
^I like them better like that than darker.
Considering the knowledge you just put forth, I'd be leaving them alone dude, you're asking for cop attention with tinted tails, they're very illegal and unsafe.
And if you're just itching for mods, as well all are, but don't have cash, there are a lot of taseful cheap things you can do that you'll enjoy. Doing tasteless things (no offense, if you like them of course) like tinting tails and painting wheels before doing things that will actually HELP the overall appearance of your car is not condusive to making the car look good in the long run. Trust me, I've been there bro, we all have. In the end you'll learn retraint anyways so I'd recommend trying some now.
Getting a Z-Tube for your intake is under $60 and nets a decent gain in noise from the engine as well as a few ponies and a bit better mileage.
A coupe midpipe should run you about the same ($60 or less), if you can put it in yourself, and will do about the same as above.
The HR Y-pipe is usually around the same, at most, $100, and will perform the same as above. All 3 of these done over a bit of time will leave you with better mileage, a faster car, and will sound great! That will appease your inner mod bug for well under $300 spread out over a bit of time.
There are many other little things you can do that will cost a minute amount but give you some good results.
FYI, you could probably paint the lower sills yourself if you have a garage that the car can keep warm in over a weekend. Wetsandpaper, Painters tape, sandable primer, and body colour spraypaint from your local automotive paint supplier. All these items will cost well under $30 total. Opt for clearcoat
spray as well if you want to do a really good job and you may pay another $10. There are some good DIY's online, and feel free to PM me I've done some pretty good "backyard" painting and could offer some advice. sanding in between coats, not applying too much paint on each coat, and allowing proper cure time between coats are the three biggest mistakes people make with spraypaint, avoid those and you should do well. Even if it's not perfect, it'll be better than unpainted as it is, and you can always have it done later professionally if it doesn't last or work out. For <$40, can't really go wrong as long as you don't paint anything other than the sills~!

^^What he said!^^
I cant stand the look of the faded plastic trim that came on these cars. I still have it on my car but it will be coming off very soon. Also, with the DWI on your record cops will be looking to pull you over more than others, don't do anything that will give them a reason to.
Edit: To answer your original question though, I would go all black. It will look really clean once the trim is painted.

well thanks i appreciate it, i'll have to look into painting them a bit more then. would i just use matching paint out of a spray can? i'm not sure how that would turn out. And yeah i'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to painting and sanding between coats. as far as mods go, i got a z tube with pop charger, coupe middy, test pipes, 3.5vsld swap, and a magnaflow muffler. don't plan on doing much more only bolt on's for me, cars racking up millage to fast being a daily driver.
Yeah in the states it may be worth asking around for quotes. Might not be worth the hassle.
Like I said, get a automotive paint company to make a can of spraypaint for you that is the same colour as your car. They have them on file, you just tell them the colour code.
As I said, spray paint jobs can turn out fine, and with the grey colour it's not hard to get right.
