Despite my comment saying 'for sure putting them on', I will actually do what I always do and second guess the crap out of it LMAO.
Your comments are fruitful, too, because it really does look great as-is. I considered SKYLINE too, but that idea faded quickly, as i no rice.

Perhaps a PS is in order, too bad I don't have PS..... anyone feel like helping that venture out?

lolz, it's a bit of work to say the least, not a fit and forget thing. BUT, well worth it, IMO, after some scrupulous sanding I've got this thing fitting so damn nice, the lines are tight, gaps small, and the swoop of hte lip is 97% perfectly matched to the tailight lines, I really, really am liking how well I've got this thing to line up. It's not 100%, but it's not far off OE quality fitment at this point.

It can actually. There's a little bit of a battle finding middle groudn though, between the slight poke out on the driver side lower bit, and the gap on the right side. I cna even the gaps around the lights, but that will result in a little more poke in the Driver side lower edge.

It's a middle ground/lesser of two evils dilemma. I will probably get mroe picky about it when I get the rest of the body work done on the car and get ready for paint, that's when I'll chase gaps, imperfections, etc to a much higher extent.

Yeah not sure precisely HOW they did it without screwing upt he fitment, but mine is fine. Eric came through in getting them to make it thicker than normal for sure.
Considering it's made by VIS it seems (not sure bout this, but the packaging was ViS....), they do good work in my experience and research, they're the ones making Strafe's stuff.

And I found out some interesting stuff about "strafe's" trunks..... and their claims of it being "their" design...
Don't matter, I dun care, I has nice trunk.

Fitment was ok. I actually helped Aaron fit his better. I don't think vis makes the hd deck lids unless something changed recently. Last part wasn't directed to you Wes

IMO the Fitment is pretty bad on the gaps. Shift it to the right and sand down the edges to open the gaps up. The fg is really easy to manipulate. Is the right side corner near the bumper still kicked out 1/4"?

The issue right now is actually in the latch mount location. I have it adjusted as much as possible and more through the hinges, and in order to have the Left lower corner tucked in as it should be, the gap on the right side kind of needs to be that way. As I said earlier, I can't even the gaps without the left corner sticking out again, the latch is holding me up.

The only other options right now as I see it would be to:

a) move the Latch mounting location on the trunk, which means getting rid of the threaded portions completely and fabbing my own adjustment into the trunk, making securing very difficult.

b)try to notch the latch portion that mounts to the trunk so I can move it in a bit. There's just no real room for adjustment even after notching with this route.
