Should I buy Rims.....

for my 05 leased G????


i just have the facotry 17's right now, didnt want to upgrade at the dealership to 18's cuz i wasnt very fond of them anyway, plus dealers as everyone knows bends you over on everything from keychains to ....well everything else....


at this point I thinking i may trade in 06 to get a coupe....maybe...


anyone have suggestions???

That's really up to you. Most every G I have ever seen with rims, draw's your eye's to the car in a way that makes you notice how the car really REALLY needs to be lowered as a result.

I wouldn't mod a car I didn't own. Didn't you lease it to have a lower payment in the first place?

Depending on the length or your lease, there's a good chance that the stock tires won't last the term. At some point you will have to replace them anyway.
One approach: Drive the car for 5-10K miles and decide what you want to put on. Then if you can.. store the stock r's & t's. At the end of your lease, put the stocks back on and sell the aftermkt one s that you bought. No use spending $2-4K just to leave them on when you turn in the car.
