Engine Burning Oil

I posted a thread similar to this before seeing what could possibly be the issue, I have a little more info now, but I'm still broke and I still need help!

I bought a used 2003 g35 with 140k and the oil pan went dry after 3k miles and a rod started knocking.

I got a used g35 engine with 85k miles on it and my dad installed it. Started it up and it's blowing smoke.

The smoke is white, my dad said its oil burning I do notice a tint of blue I suppose. The smoke will come out on idle, not thick but definitely more than condensation. sometimes it will come out more, sometimes you can't even notice it. If you rev the engine at a certain point a puff of the smoke will shoot out and then more will continue to come out when it idles after being revved.

He changed the PCV valve with no luck. Also tried a bit of seafoam in the gas tank and crank case.

Does this sound like a head gasket, piston rings, valve seals, I can't afford a test kit and I can't afford the mechanic right now but it would be great to know if someone else has had this issue and can relate to my symptoms?

Thank you! I really don't want to get rid of this car I have fallen in love with it!

White smoke sounds like headgasket. Have you been losing coolant?
