I have a 2005 G35 RWD Coupe that is having transmission problems. My simple question is if I can install a 2006 RWD G35 coupe transmission in my 2005 car.

 

Simple answer is yes, they should be plug and play as long as you buy the right type, manual or automatic.

 

Do you know if 03-06 automatic transmission g35 sedan are all compatible

 

Depends on production month of the transmission if you have an '03, the cutoffs are "pre 09-2003" and "from 10-2003" verified with my local scrap yard, had to do a little research because this question has come up a couple times the last few days. Anything '04 to '06 is compatible for auto sedans.

You can check the ID number on the transmission to verify, no clue what visual indicators would be, You MIGHT need the transmission wiring harness, there are two different plug options on the transmission itself but the plug that goes into it will have the same 3 connections to the vehicle.

I just want to double check, i also have a 2005 auto G35 coupe that i want to do a tranny swap off a 2006 auto coupe. Your saying it worked no issues or ECU swapping?
